I got my motherboard fixed from warrenty and everything worked fine. I updated the graphics card & itunes then the computer started to become slow and the hard drive made some wierd noises and now it turns on but it doesn't detect the hard drive and when the hard drive is detected and xp loads it has the bsod. I tried reformatting and it wouldn't detect a win xp installation but would detect thae hard drive and then i did the reformating and it gets stuck on 0%. Is my hard drive bad?

does it make any bad sounds like clunking sounds when its booting up?

while it makes a noise like its reading or writing but i never heard it like that before. now it doesnt make any loud noise and when im reformating the hdd led is solid
