Have parts for build except mobo - please help

Okay here is my current shopping cart for my new build:

The video card, I will decide later. I have no clue what mobo to get, and am confused by all the specs...

My cpu says LGA 775 for the socket type and my RAM says under features:
M/B Chipset
intel X38
intel P35
intel 965
intel 975

does this mean it will only fit those chipsets? Could anyone recommend a good motherboard for me? I have heard that my processor won't be any good without a decent mobo, and as you can tell I know little about them. Just need something compatible and not totally trash.

BTW: for the mobo $150 would be stretching it; I plan to use the build for gaming/media; I will probably be running xp pro for now. If you need any more info feel free to ask. Thanks!

It will work on an Nvidia motherboard, but I don't see why you'd want to be running an Nvidia mobo anyway, you don't need SLi, do you?

A P45 would be a much better choice IMO.

What GPU will you be using?

Just ordered last night : /

I ended up getting http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127394 for the video card and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131329 for the mobo. Was that a bad choice? I did ask a friend about the ram, and he told me it would probably be fine, even if the mobo didn't recognize it at first. But I could fix that in the bios.
