Have $1500 to spend on a new comp....

Well, I've been collecting lots of cash for a while and I've come up with $1,500 to burn on a comp. The only problem is I'm a software junkie and know near to nothing about hardware. Any suggestions ?

I was thinking I would like to use New Egg or Price Watch.

I go with computer retail shops and get good deals,but helps to know what ur talking about before they con ur ass. Prices very good tho and no worries about shipment and all that missjiff.
