I Purchased a couple of used 13gb hard drives off ebay, an IBM and a Maxtor. When I tried them in my Pentium 3, they are not being detected. I know they are on and I put them on the right IDE Channel.
Ive tried them as Master and as Cable Select.
My (American Megatrend) BIOS recognizes my original drive when I put it back, but no such luck with the new ones. Ive emailed the guy today for suggestions but wanted to try this as well.
