Hard drive difference

Could some one please tell me what that difference between Serial ATA and IDE hard drives are?

They use different Connectors, but from what I've heard ATA hdd's are faster then IDE but you have to amek sure your motherboard supports them..

It supports both cause I own the Same motherboard and I'm goign to end up getting a 200gig Seagate Serial ATA harddrive.

read up on how to load your OS on it ... that is if you're using it for that. You'll need your SATA drivers from MSI.
