Hi,
i having trouble figuring out how to take the information from my old hard drive and put it on my new one. i hooked it up to my computer, and the only problem i have now is accessing my documents. i cannot access them because of the administrative password i have on "my documents" folder. is there anything i can do to take the password off and make all of my documents accessable?

um, you can use a linux live cd on your computer to access that hard drive. (live cd=an operating system that you can boot from your cd drive and no installation is needed.

ummm wouldnt you possibly think, that he may not have access to this????? As to your question, however. If you do not have the password, I would think that you are not allowed to be doing this..hmmm interesting thought

it is my old hard drive... my computer fryed... power surge...

but i connect my hard drive to my computer, and i could access everything but my "password protected" documents.... i know the password...
