GTX 560 vs. GTX 560 ti ?

Hey everyone. Doing my first build. I bought a GTX 560 because it was on sale. The guy at the store said the only difference from the GTX 560 and the GTX 560 ti, was a different fan. Is he correct?

Negative. The Ti has more processor cores, faster clocks, and more texture units. You can do the compare right here:

So the Non-Ti is just a bit slower, but not by a game changing amount. Still, if the guy who was selling the card was trying to be dishonest, he succeeded. If he didn't know, he needs to get a new job.

Yeah, the margin is pretty small, and the 560 is still a rocking card, so don't feel bad. I'd be happy to have it if it were me.
