hello all.. first post

i have suspicion that my hard drive is failing.. is there any software that check the functionality of pc components?

You can download hard drive diagnostic programs from the drive manufacturer's web site.

Well, hard drives give you signs that they are failing, for instance, does the drive make more noise than normal? Is the clicking getting louder? Does it seem to be clicking more than usual? You can also tell if you are getting a lot of errors or the pc freezes a lot.

Can you explain more about what makes you suspicious of your hard drive?
