Graphics Card Problem?

so my graphics card (Leadtek 6600TD) has failed, or so i think.

I turned off my computer via front power button, then as soon as i turned it off i turned it back on because i realized i forgot to do something before i turned it off.

well when i turn my computer on i hear a spasm of beeps, not timed beeps, but uncontroled beepage. then my computer stops booting and nothing is displayed on the moniters.

I've been having problems with it lately (not displaying anything and having to reboot) and that usually fixes it, or my dual moniter sometimes wont display anything and i would have to unplug it and plug it back into the VGA port. But this time i think the thing has finally gone out... i rebooted several times and removed the graphics card, then replaced it and tried again, still no luck, just a black screen and it stops booting

but when i boot without the graphics card the computer boots up fine.
I RMA'd it to newegg and decided to buy a new card (XFX 7600GT) which is arriving tomorrow.

I was just wondering if this really IS a graphics card problem or at the very worst case my motherboard PCIe slot :p
