which one should I get? NVidia 7800 GT or Radeon X850?

Totally the 7800gt. The 7800gt will woop any x850xt. I'd get the x1800xl though, but yeah, 7800gt.

yeah, 7800GT is better than the x850.

the x1800xl is about as good as the 7800GTX, maybe a little better.

Depends what slot. For AGP, I would go with the X850 XT PE, hands down, but if you're using PCI-E, then 7800 GT.
