got some questions between ati and nvidia

ok, i've heard a bunch of stuff on both the nvidia and ati cards.

1. did nvidia skip the shader on the 7800gtx or something and does the 7800gtx have old drivers?

2. Which is better? Nvidia or Ati what are the reasons?

It doesnt matter which is better, its all on preference, once one company releases a new card, another company releases a new card to make the sides equal. Right now, Nvidia is in the lead but the X1800XT is soon to follow.
