General processor speed?

I have a P4 3.0 630

It runs idle at about 36 degrees with just a stock sync and some artic 5. For some reason in uguru when I play a game like WoW though it speeds up to like 60 until I minimize then it goes back down. 59 is actually the highest I have seen it. Is this ok?

How bout your temps and aftermarket coolers?

Prescott core. Same as me. Made for heat, so you should be fine. I think. Wait for other input, but I play games much more demanding then wow, and my fully stock CPU (same CPU as yours) and it works fine.

ya those prescott cores run pretty damn hot, if you're worried about it u can always get an aftermarket cooler such as a zalman

Those temps seem pretty normal. Think about adding a fan or two, if your worried about it.
