Gaming in Vista

Right, I have both, XP home and Vista beta 2 running on different partitions on my hard drive, and touch wood so far eveything is working well, except i cant get 3D flip to work in Vista and it looks really cool, but I was just wondering, will there be any difference in gaming performance between the 2 operating systems, I have installed Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion in Vista and it play pretty well I was just wondering if it would play better if i installed it in XP? O and does any body know how long the trail is of Vista?
