G-Sata / SATA

So I've Googled, G-SATA is required if you plan on using RAID, and it uses a separate controller to normal SATA2 ports.

If you were to have a primary boot drive not in RAID, and then 2 or more other drives in RAID together, which ports would you use for which drives?

Thanks

Nope. But motherboards that I am looking @ buying do.
One, for instance, has 4 G-Sata ports and 6 normal SATA2 ports.
