thats about it. and by the way how come on newegg there are no more 6800ultras? and are these specs good for gaming? and doing school work? if anyone has suggestions please post. and also is everything good? and how do u unlock pixel pipelines and can i do it on the card above?

looks exellent. Though IMO u are paying quite much for the case, sound card, keyboard&mouse and the monitoring info thingy. And I'd get a corded mouse for gaming, just don't like the wireless ones so much.

Everything looks great the way it is. However, yes I do have to bring it up, you could use a better sound card. Get this:

Creative SOUND BLASTER X-Fi Platinum 8 (7.1) Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16829102190

The two 6800GT's are super nice, but wouldn't it be better if you had 2 7800GTX? I mean, whoa. I assume that the money may be from financial aid? You can spend a crap load on this PC. Upgrade to a 4800+ Toledo, You're missing set of dual channel high performance RAM. I suggest Geil ONE series RAM. OC heaven. If you can get these suggested parts, you would have the like the best system here besides Natalya.

I don't hate them, but sometimes they can be a pain in the behind, atleast the older ones were. I know that wireless technology has advanced alot but there still might be some problems, like small lag sometimes (not often though) and u will only notice it in fast FPS games ansd stuff like that. And if the wire is loose enough then it won't bother u.

i only have about 4200 dollars to spend and i cnat do anything to it till after college so im kinda stuck. i could still get a fx 55. but i wanted 6800ultras but i dont know y new egg dont have them anymoreand yea i forgot about the ram. and with the xfi i read on the reviews is that u cant play games in high res and high mode. so im not sure yet.

dont get an fx55, get a 4000+ and if youre any good at overclocking, overclocker it up to the speed of an fx55. the price warrant between these two really does not warrant the increase in speed. its about twice as much for an fx55 but with only a 0.2 increase. just seems like youre paying for the brand name and not the performance. cant you look else where for the 6800 ultras, or get somehting better with the cash you save form getting a 4000+?

Aren't the fx55 and 4000+ different kind of processors. So u can't just compare them with speed, the fx series are ment for gaming and are really good at it. It's not all about the clockspeeds.

i was looking at both the fx55 and the 4000+ a while back. most of the feedback and reviews all said that they are pretty much the same, obviously the fx55 is better. the only major difference is that the fx55 is alot better at overclocking. so from an enthuciast point of view get the fx55 but if youre on a budget get teh 4000+.
