Freezing Problem

My computer freezes when i start it up. It gets to the desktop and the minute i click on something, it freezes. And theres no way to get it to unfreeze without doing a hard shut down. Got any ideas?

Have you run any sort of anti-spyware/anti-virus? Are the fans really loud (as in it is overheating)? More info would be great.

also try booting in safe mode and se if you get the same problems.

Try the above solutions, if they don't work, then try waiting a little after the computer boots.
Like don't immediately click on an icon when they just appeared. See if that makes a difference.
