freezing

My comptuer tends to freeze a lot, it happend when im on the net and then I double click something like my docs or any other program.
It freezes so I can do anything even ctr+alt+del doesnt work so I have to turn the power off which I have no choice to do.
Sometimes it just freezes for a bit and the bottom taskbar dissappears and comes back after a few secs with the icons in the bottom right all come back one by one.

Why does this happen and what can I do about it?

How much ram do you have? You could have too little and you do too much and it just freezes. What is your proccessor? What is your OS?

look on the psu label inside your pc

Oh, you never said that. Then call customer service since you cant really mess with a lappy but some other people might know some stuff.
