Force program to install

I remember I used to have a program that used to allow you to "fake" your system specification (windows version, hardware etc) but I cannot seem to find it anywhere on the internet anymore. I'm stuck using Windows ME at the moment so I can't use compatibility mode. Thanks for any replies.
