Flashed 360

I flashed my 360 DVD drive firmware today, my Xbox Live subscription expired, so I figured why not. It was actually pretty simple...well, it does depend on which DVD drive your 360 has. The hardest part was getting the stupid thing open

Unfortunately, I don't have any dual layer DVDs...so I'll have to get some ASAP before I can try backing up any of my games. Because that's what the whole point is, to back up games you own

Anyway, the tutorial I found makes it really simple. I think this is okay to post on the forum, but if a mod disagrees go ahead and delete it.

Yes you can update the firmware via download direct from the PS3 or save it to a flash drive and upload it from that. The PS3 has a update feature similar to windows update.

Right now 2.10 is the latest. They should be releasing a update for the upcoming 2.0 Blu Ray profile.
