Flash Drive Question?

I put my flash drive in lotsa virus infected computers cuz i had virus removal software on it, now i want to clear the thing out to be sure no viruses are in it. What's the best way to do this?

Format it.

Put it in any computer with Windows XP and go to My Computer. Right click the drive and then choose Format.

ok i heard something onetime that said formatting them isn't good? I'ma do that anyway though, thanks.

formatting is perfectly fine, unless of course u interupt it in the middle still should be fine, it just erases everything, and readiers it for storage or whatever.
