first time poster, first time problem

i have wireless connection set up throughout my house. I also have a game adapter connected to my game consuls so i can play online without being near my computer. Problem is, the adapter sometimes doesnt work. Ill hook it up, turn on my games, play online for awile then turn the consul off. If i were to comeback later the same day, an error message will pop up saying something like "cannot connect to dnas server" or something like that. Weird thing is, Ill unhook all the cords from the adapter and let it sit for a few days and then when i go to hook it up, it works fine. Like i stated above, if i were to come back to it again that same day, it wouldnt work. Anyone know how i can fix this so i can connect whenever and not just once every three days?

sounds like you got some software issues. or the router is going bad. dns server would be Domain Name Server, or possibly DHCP server? DHCP is what assigns your computer its ip
