First time build

Hi everyone! Am currently looking at building a computer for the first time... have already bought all the parts I needed but have misread the specs on the PSU (because I am an idiot), so basically I am wondering if a 450W power supply will be sufficient to power this pc..........

Have got a Gigabyte GA-X38-DS4 Intel X38 Socket 775 DDR2 Motherboard, Intel Quad Core processor, 4gb RAM, 250GB hard drive and GeForce 9800GT 1GB graphics card.

It will i would upgrade tho. or trade it in for a new 600-650

If it will work then is it necessary to upgrade? I mean, will I see drastic improvements in performance or something?

If it works fine, there's nothing to worry about. But if you're getting crashes, reboots etc, look to the PSU first.
