Firefox

So I recently had some spyware/malware/viruses and some registry errors and recent cleaned them all out. Fixed every error got rid of all spyware and other crap and then realized that Firefox is loading extremely SLOW. It's only Firefox, IE is working perfectly and it's not my internet connection because I am gettin 12 Mbps DL according to DSLreports.com. Does anyone have any idea why Firefox is running slow and can you please help me?

I can't tell you why it's running slow. Could be some borked settings stemming from your virus problems. How about uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling the newest version?

i uninstalled firefox and then re-installed and it came back with the same settings and even kept my favorites and stuff. I completely uninstalled and deleted the firefox folder and every time I try to start fresh, I load up firefox and its slow with the same settings
