so basically i got an internal harddrive and a firewire/usb enclosure. Everything is hooked up right and the device, including the hard drive, is even recognized by my comp. However i am unable to access it. It does not appear under removable storage under computer management, via the control panel. But when i go under disk management it appers and it says not initialezed. More over i need this drive to by Mac/PC compatible so i formatted it on a Mac, simply because of the fact that my pc did not give me the option to format it. Everything worked fine on the mac. I also took it to a friends pc and it also did not work. the enclosure did come with a cd but i don't think nething on there worked and i had it in when i attached the device. HELP!

edit: forgot to mention that this is happening on windows xp with service pack 2
