Ok,I Currently have an IBM R32,It has a bung battery, and it pretty heavy and big, here are the specs:

But with a 30gb Hdd,and 512mb RAM.
I Only use this for school (Typing notes and such) and surfing the internet.

I Was Thinking selling this, and buying an EEEPC (With some extra money of course)

It would be much more portable and has a better battery life.

So,The Verdict,Sell my lappy and buy an EEEPC,Or Just buy a new battery for my IBM???

the EEE Pc is undeniably cool...

the new 9" version takes care of the small screen concern with the 7" version.

the EEE pc is going to be great for writting docs and stuff, but for surfing the net I think a bigger screen is needed (personal preference).

ultimatly the EEE pc is just cooler though, I'd probably get than and just have the old laptop plugged in as a second machine for when I really wanted it.

my dads got one an i have used it a bit.
if you have big fingers forget about it , you will hit the key + 5 around it.
dad uses it to take overseas to write emails a things like that

i say go for 9'' eeepc

Eee PC is really sweet. I haven't seen a single bad review for it. It'll perform at least as good as that laptop, if not better.

If you have the money, I'd say Eee PC all the way.

The Eee PC is made to be used as a secondary computer, not as your main system.

its come in a tiny box, people wouldn't believe you if you said there is a laptop in there haha
