DVD Drive problems?

Hey, guys. The title pretty much says it all. I was using Nero to burn a DVD. Because the process takes a long time, I left it to burn at night, and went to bed. I woke up the next morning to find that the DVD I inserted was still blank, and my DVD-RW drive has been replaced by CD Drives. I uninstalled Nero, but the problem persists. I have attached a picture of what I am describing just to make it so that there is a visual reference. I'm thinking that Nero installed a virtual drive. However, I do not know if I am correct about that and if so, how do I go about uninstalling it? Also, the name of my DVD drive still shows up on the BOOT MENU, the BIOS menu, and my device manager. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

P.S. - Here's some info about the computer I'm using:

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
Computer Type: Gateway T-1628 (32-bit)
Processor: AMD Turionâ„¢ 64 x2 Mobile Technology TL-60
