DVD burner not reading DVD's

I have a new Memorex DVD external burner. Just recently I havent been able to read DVDs but it reads CDs. I have tried another sony external DVD burner and it does the same thing. I have also tried the burner on multilple other computer and its the same problem. Has anyone ever heard of this problem let me know, thanks

NO BUT you actually bought another one instead of takeing back the first.Thats what i suggest.or maybe # 2.Same thing.

Rent a dvd movie,and tell me "it won't Play "
Lets play first.burn later.

It would be the best idea to bring it back to the people who made it and say its not working. It is confusing about it not working on another Burner and other computers - maybe it is the DVD?

But bringing it back would answer all the questions.

if the dvd doesnt work in either dvd readers, i imagine its the dvd with the problem.
