I'm upgrading my current cpu (p4 2.53) to a dual core 2.8ghz cpu. My question is do all motherboards with an LGA775 socket support dual core cpu's? I need a motherboard with and agp slot for my videocard so i was thinking about getting an Acorp 47865PEN motherboard of ebay, thanks :)

Thankfully most motherboards come with a BIOS update that allows use of dual core cpu's. Firstly i would check on the motherboard manufacturer's website for that motherboard and check out if it can support it. Also check in the support/downloads section to see if you can find a BIOS update for "new cpu support" or something around those lines. if you ARE going to geta dual core, you will be better off waiting for the prices to come down a bit, or wait till quad cores come out! lol.
