does anyone know where i can get the green thing that holds the cd drives and hard drives in a dell optiplex, i have so many extra parts i can put into it, but it wont hold there, doesnt use screw either

and more problems with this computer is that
i tried installing this video car, but the computer's monitor doesnt turn on with the car in, i take it out it works!

then there is no sound i got a sound card, but seems that it doesnt work,

i cant close my computer case all the way because it will turn off, if it already off and the case is closed all the way, the computer doesnt turn on at all!!

make sure you are plugging in the video cable into the video card, and not the integrated thing on the motherboard

just wondering, but would a FX 5200 128mb Nvidia work on my computer?

so you have a dell optiplex? is it an agp card or pci?

if its pci, plug in the monitor to the mobo (take the card out) and go into cmos settings and find the setting that says init. display. it should be set to onboard/agp. change it to pci. now save settings, shut off the system, and install the video card, make sure to plug the monitor to the card not the mobo, and it should work.

if its agp, im not sure what could be wrong.

I have an integrated AGP, I'm supposed to go into BIOS and change t PCI?
will that affect my computer if I don't change over?
