Dell Dimension High or Low Density RAM?

Hey my friend has a Dell Dimension 2300 desktop with 256MB of PC133 RAM. I am looking on ebay for more RAM for him, he wants some more, and the RAM is cheaper than the shipping, but it is high density RAM, from what I have read, this is less compatible, but cheaper, low density RAM is more compatible with motherboards but more expensive.

So what do I do? Will high density RAM work on his computer?
