Dell 1526 Laptop snowy screen!

Hello I am having a issue with my Dell 1526 inspiron laptop. Every so often I will get this static snowy image on the monitor and wont go away unless I hold down the power button. Anyone else have or had this problem and have any ideas?

I am still getting this wavy snowy image on my monitor for some odd reason. I keep having to hold down the power button to restart the laptop. Anyone else having this issue?
