Hello all, I have a Pentium 4 3.20 GHz CPU overclocked to 4.12 GHz (rated at 6.18 GHz at System Requirements Lab) HT enabled, but I think my memory is what is holding me back. So I'm getting 2 GB DDR2 667 this Christmas and hopefully I'll be able to overclock it some more. But anyway, I was looking and found a new motherboard and a 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo for a reasonable price, and I was wondering if it would be a good investment to upgrade to that. I wouldn't be able to afford a new motherboard and a better duo or quad core CPU right now. And I play a lot of games. I'm just hoping that the CPU I have now will get me through?

you could go for the core duo, and could proberly overclock that to about 3.0ghz with good cooling and ram.
