CPU Fan Header Dead?

So my computer started freezing and shutting itself down the other day so i decided to reset the BIOS (So my CPU went from 3.6Ghz OC back down to 3.0Ghz) and it stopped. I was fiddling around in speedfan last night and realised that my CPU was idling at 55c and i started getting worried and then i realised the fan on my heatsink had stopped working.

Pretty much i have been running my computer without a heatsink fan for the past 3 days (Although the fact it didnt overheat means the airflow in my case isnt too bad).

So for now i have plugged my CPU fan into one of the case fan headers and it's no proble but i cant get the CPU Fan header to work anymore. Any ideas?

broken pins on the header, could be a damaged trace on the mb ect.

i wouldn't worry about it as long as the case fan header works good, or just a 4pin molex adapter so u can use a 4/3 pin fan wire with a molex cord, done that before to.
