Computer will not turn on

Im hoping someone can shead some light as to what my computers problem might be. About 2 months ago it would not turn on. Replaced the power supply thinking that was the problem. It worked for a couple of Days on then nothing. now when i push the power button the light flashes red and nothing happens... THinking it might be the motherboard thats fryed.

Please Help

disconnect all drives ie hard drives,floppy drives,disk drives
then try powering it on
