Some of you may be familiar with my recent problem of my computer not turning on. Well, now it switches off when I don't want it too! Then I have to leave it for a bit, and then it will start up again. And I don't think this is due to overheating, coz my computer doesn't get very hot before it switches off. Faulty PSU perhaps, as some of you mentioned earlier?

Erm, could be PSU that was my problem can you give us some more detailed specs along with wattage, and age of PSU.0.

I got this ATX PSU like maybe 2-3 years ago, and its got 400W. It seems that whenever I watch movies online, or I defrag my hard drive (which I tried earlier today)..it just shuts off.

I want to go with possible CPU, your PC is booting up it always could be a ram problem. Go to your local PC shop get at least a 450 watter and plug it in should be good. If that don't work changes are its your ram.
