hey, im planning redoing my computer, gotta couple of questions. i nee anyhelp possible.
im mostly buying used things

-is this motherboard good? http://houston.craigslist.org/sys/374121194.html
it comes with 3.0ghz p4 too

-is it possible to take my old hd from my dell optiplex gx260 and connect it to that mobo?

cant think of anything else right now...

i appreciate any help i get.

You should be able to connect your hard drive to the new mobo via IDE connection no problem. I don't know if that new mobo will actually fit in the Dell case though. And you will also need to reinstall Windows to your hard drive because of the hardware change.

the mobo might be a ATX and i think the dell cases only support Micro ATX

o sorry to confuse yall, but im planning to get a alienware case, and its atx
and besides that mobo was taken. so how do i reinstall windows?
what are other good brands for motherboards? is asus the best?
