also will a hard drive that is a Sata 3.0gb/s work with a mother board that has a Sata connection for 1.5gb/s??

The motherboard should almost definately fit the case from what the website said. If not, drill some holes! About the Sata, Sata II is 100% backwards compatible so yes, it will work on 1.5GB/s.

most ATX mid-towers nowadays have holes for both ATX boards and mATX boards (i know mine does), those two should go fine with each other. compatability should not be an issue.
