Choosing a Decent Laptop

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at getting a new laptop soon, and thought I'd come here and ask the community's advice. I don't have my heart set on a particular brand or model, although would like something with at least 2GB of RAM, probably something with a dual-core processor and definitely something with wireless. It would be a great plus as well if it could manage some games well. I'm not necessarily looking for the latest and greatest, but if it can manage something like Oblivion or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (or something even newer) on mid to high settings that would be spectacular.

Price isn't a huge issue, but something under $2,000 AU (about ₤900/$1,765 US) would be best (although less is always good).

Thanks,
Krystofor

I just bought a toshbia sattletie A215
$899 US
specs:

Windows Vista Home Prieium
AMD Turion 64 x2 2.0 Ghz dual core
200 gb hard drive
Radeaon x1200 graphics card
2 gb Ram

and again I just bought and haven't tested it on many games so you might want to check it out or if you want something more powerful... ?
