a sli setup is still cheaper but i wonder what the performance difference is.
 
Read a review in this months (could be lasts) Custom PC, and according to it, it pretty much sucks.

Works out to be only £30 cheaper than a GF6800GT and offers similar performance. You also can't use it on other motherboards, strictly Gigabyte only. You can't use it with another GFX card as well (SLI), i.e. Using 4 GPU's in SLI. So, If you're considering it, look at getting a GF6800GT instead - Only £30 more (in this price range, what does it matter?). You then have a choice of motherboard and at a later date, you can upgrade you're graphics with another 6800GT.

Still, it quite a cool achiement.

I reckon SLI main use is for upgrading in the future, personally.
