changing jpeg to tiff

Is there any way I can change all my pictures on my computer that are now in the jpeg format to a tiff format. I heard to print them out they will look a lot nicer. If I need a program to do this do you know of any free ones to do this job? Thank you

open you image in MSPAINT and then go

File > Save As

Make sure at the end of your image name you write .tiff

Please note that the quality will not be as good

What I would like to do is when I download my pictures off of my camera Is thee a way I can have all of them change into a tiff format when they go into my photo software?

you may be able to use your software which came with your camera, there should be an option somewhere that can change the format. did you get some software?

I want to thank you for helping me with this problem. I have a kodak camera and I am using there kodak software and I can't seem to find where to change to pic format. It's a free download if you want to download to see if you could find it. Thank you very much again for helping me.
