Celeron to P4 help?...

Ok as u can see i have a celeron, runs amazingly fast (for a celeron) and i bought a P4 2.4 off of Juice... but when i put it in and startup nothing shows on the screen... i cant even enter BIOS, no nothin... what should i do...

heres my mobos specs...

and its not the Proc cuz i swapped a P4 from my parents comp.. and it did the same thing.. but now i have time too mess with this...

throw the celeron back in (dont waste your time applying grease and all that jazz) and get the latest BIOS for your motherboard and flash it, it should give you P4 support if your motherboard has it.

Erm, it'll never work. Reason? You need Celerons and P4s that are 400MHZ FSB ONLY. Juice's CPU is 533FSB.

Why returning it? Just buy a used S478 board, and you'll be good to go.

No Worries Juice... im on XP Pro and lovin it... i can always sell it to someone else...
