A bit of both really, although editing would be what i primarily do with it.

If ur looking at gaming i would recommend the hd 6850 as it runs games smoothly and has a much higher score on the benchmark tests compared to the hd6790.

i agree with kofaz with getting the hd 6850 or 6870. Other than that it looks like a good build.
