yeah, I know that is is a type of ram (184 pin) and the numbers are the speed, and there are different capacities (128mb, 256mb, 512 mb and 1 gig usually), but I don't get what they mean by ddr standard in the mobo specs, like here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131540
I think its just trying to say the standard or specification for that memory for that mobo. Nothing fancy. It's just telling you the ideal speed for ram for use with that mobo.
Obviously you know that DDR stands for Double Data Rate, so just have a think about the other posts and think hmm Standard. So IU guess it means just Genuine DDR. Or higher, if required
