building my system (mach 2)

will sataII work with the motherboard and how do i RAID them?? sorry if i'm hesistant about the compatability but i tried a build before with my father and found the motherboard wasn't compatable with anything, the video card wasn't compatable with the operating system (98se), and then found that the new video card wasn't compatable with our version of linux. argh...so much work wasted. and the time factor too.

ur goin with pata for the hdds? dont do it! go with sata

Everything looks fine. That monitor is pretty good for the price. Oh, it's refurbished. The case is very nice, but do you want to know what I think is the BEST? This case is exactly the same price, well, 1-cent more. Big whoop there. It's got 4 total fans including 2x 120mm and 2x 80mm also includes PCI slot and CPU cooler. Check it out:

is there a problem with refurbished products??? or just monitors?? i probably don't need 400GB of space but i'm run out of room before so i'm overcompensating. dam downloaded music and movies and shows and games, they take a lot of room. but if i ivested it in ram (i already am getting 2GB) will 3 or 4GB make much of a difference in game play or even day to day use?? i think the monitor has been taken off the site. is dual channel RAM better than others

Double check your links. They all have no results except for the case and hard drive. Refurbished monitors are ok. THey've been retested and reconditioned for retail. OOoooo, that case is pretty nice there. I'm getting the exact same one next year, if there's isn't a newer designed case. Cases hardly change at all anyways.
