hey everyone, ive convinced myself to start building my first pc. im currently looking for parts and may have found some. the pc will be used for basic gaming and music producing. also, should i try to stay away from used parts? are there certain parts that should be fine buying used? ive found a ASUS M4A785-M used for cheap. so, i will probably be buying a processor and other parts from newegg. should I go with the phenom or athlon and why? any other tips for a first timer? I will list the parts as I find them, as of now ive found the motherboard and am looking for compatible parts.
