Hello and thanks for stopping by to read my posting.

I am building my first PC and here, after endless research and reading is my chosen spec. I want it to be as fast and quiet as I can afford and have a budget of £850.

What do you think? Is there anything you would add or remove? I am planning to buy it all from Scan.co.uk unless you can recommend anywhere else?

Any advice and options would be greatly appreciated, thanks. MM

well u need a psu, I'd say a 500W would be good.
And that ram won't work. U have chosen ddr2 ram which doesn't work with amd mobos yet. U will need normal ddr ram, ddr400 would be the best option since most mobos don't support faster rams.

Looks good, but get ddr ram. I would also get a different video card brand. Get the xfx or eVGA 7800gt, they have much better warrenties, and are around the same price. Also, if you dont plan on overclocking i would forget the aftermarket cooler.

thats a very nice setup all u need is the power supply as people have mentioned and u will need ddr ram not ddr2 as amd motherboards dont support that (yet), oh and i think an evga 7800gt might be a better choice than leadtek

he did pick a psu. ^

Don't think you'll need that cooler. I'm usingn the stock cooler and have only run 34C so far. I have front and back 120mm fans.b AMD says they'll void the warranty if you use anything but the original.
