thanks in advance amigos

I am on a Mobil device currently so I can't add links to parts, but I can say that for your price range you should be able to crush that game and Max it.

What do u already have? Keyboard, mouse, monitor ect?
Need a copy of windows?

And just off the top of my head w the case u linked, u should get a Phenom quad core 965, a HD5850, a 800w power supply, and some DDR 3 dual Chanel ram and a mobo and you'd be ripping it up.

And PC biulding is super easy, u don't need to take classes on it...

And later I can post links to parts if someone else dosnt by then.

thanks for the suggestions man. Ive got windows covered, got a good mouse (it aint fps so my old one will do for now) Im just thinking the $900ish to build the tower itself.

what is a mobo?

also, will the hard drive speed/capacity effect game play much?

I dont need anything more than 200 GB really so the hard drive is something I wouldnt mind skimping on. Im not one of those guys with a TB of ermmm "videos"

Mobo = motherboard

You should get a hard drive with 7200rpm as that is the standard and it will read data at a decent speed.

ok. I assume if im aiming for longevity and upgrading ability my mobo should be decently high end? any reccomendations?

also, I looked up the Phenom quad core 965 and it looks pretty badass. I heard some people say the i3s are not good because they are overclocked or something?

and the gfx card definatly rocks too. im surprised how easy this may actually be.

thanks a lot for the help so far guys.

The Phenom 965 is Socket AM3 so you have to get a Socket AM3 mobo. That narrows it down a lot. I'm getting this mobo for my system ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard which was recommended to me by other users. Which graphics card are you referring to?
he advised a HD5850, is that compatible with the motherboard?

OK, here is what I have so far. Please check for compatibility/possible problems

Your mobo is Asus not Phenom by the way. The Phenom is your CPU.

You need a hard drive. SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive . I am getting this hard drive. It's not too expensive and it came almost top in a test by a respectable website. If I find the link i'll post it.

You will also need a CD/ DVD burner (i'm guessing you are using a disc for your FF?) Don't go expensive on these as they are all the same.

I'm not sure about the PSU and RAM but I'm sure someone else can help you with it. I hope this helped. =)

Vinman probably knows more. The mobos seem pretty similar to me, but the same price.
