Hi all!!! I have a rather Newby question.... Would a pentium 4 3.8 GHz processor with Hyper threading be better than....

I have a MUCH better computer. ONCE again this is not my computer. This is processor for my friend. I appreciate any help thanks so much!

Mmmmm...

Pentium 4 3.8 GHz pre 2001, Pentium Dual-Core E6500 mid 2006. The E6500 with its 1066Mhz bus speed, 2 real cores and bigger L1 caches will out perform the P4. And the E6500 is more efficient.
