I need a full system for less than $300 WITH MONITOR. I'm looking, but not having much luck. If someone could give me a hand...

$300 PC for what? Gaming? Multitasking?

You best bet is are these items.

Motherboard $47.99

Processor $66

RAM $25.50

Video Card $52

Hard Drive $40

CD Drive $12.99

I don't think that falls within the $300 limit, but with $300, don't expect hardly anything...

AMAZING computer for 300 dollars 1337 dude!!!

Well mr 300$, don't expect to get far. 300 dollars isn't even enough for an xbox 360! I feel bad for you. Good luck with your find. If I were you, I'd lay off the computer scene until you get at LEAST 300 dollars more. If you game, don't even try, you'll need at least 800. Hell, my 19" LCD monitor was 289 alone.

Well I DO have an old 600MHz computer I'll sell to you for 150$ plus 30 for the 15 inch monitor. The only problem is that I'm DEFINATELY not going to pay for the shipping. Oh yea, and it comes with an o.k video card, a TI something nVidia card. :)

It's not my decision, it's my dad's. He's going to buy my brother an Emachines computer if I can't talk him out of it, and I'm competing with that $300 system.

I'd MUCH rather have some crappy emachines computer than a half way decent computer. Look at it this way, at least you can play Counter-Strike! :(

That's going to be tough to find. You might get away with a Dell after rebate and all. This one starts at $299, but with shipping and taxes, it's going to be more:

That's without a monitor. You're pretty much out of luck unless you go on ebay or in the advertising forum here and get a cheap Pentium 3 or Pentium 4 used system. Too hard to make it brand spanking new for that price.

That kinda wouldnt work, the mobo is Socket 939, the CPU is Socket 754, problem? I think yes.

Simple mistake. Damn! Its no big deal. Maybe you could supply us with a mobo, instead of just comlaining.
