Would I notice a big difference from my Socket A rig?
I know Intel is winning and all that but I can't afford new ram and all of that.

My mom doesn't want me to spend anymore or believe me I would, I'm trying to get a car, but I'm tired of my computer, so I thought this little upgrade would be sufficent.

All I really do is browse the net, play CZ CS and CS:S, and HL2 sometimes and a couple of other games, and also Photoshop.

I get 150FPS in Source but thats not good enough for me lol.

But do you think this would be a preety fast computer, like opening up crap, I'm going to OC the processor howefully to like 2.8 or 3.0.

I have water cooling to help me out with that.

Do you think I will get more FPS in CS:S??

LMAO, it is but like thats only in some parts, I did the video stress test and I got an average of 75.5 FPS.

But sometimes it glitches, and also Photoshop when you minimize it and reopen it it gets all screwed up.

IDK i just want a new rig lol

Well, that would be sufficient, but try to avoid upgrading or buying a new PC yearly...I'll end up in your garbage, looking for parts

what are you talking about this is my first upgrade since the one I have now.

I have a confession, I lied about all those other computers that I had. Like the fx-62 and the fx-74 rig I said I had.

sry the rig in my sig is my real one and this is the upgrade I would like to do. It is my first upgrade since that one, and before I had this one I had some POS. I had this one for 3 years now.

If I were you, I would just upgrade your current one a little bit. Possibly upgrade the processor, and get a new video card.

And by upgrading yearly, I think he means that in a little bit you're going to want to upgrade again about a year from now for a new system.

Actually, the fastest socket A is the AMD Athlon XP 3200+.
